Notes about this historic site
1 A shallow oval feature was uncovered in the north-west corner of the site during the observation of foots and associated groundworks for a small scale residential development off Avondale road, Brandon. The fill was a sandy loam with charcoal flecks, burnt cobbles and several 15th century and 16th century pottery sherds.
