Great Alne Railway Station which was in use during the Imperial period. It is situated at the southern end of Appleby Close, Great Alne.

Notes about this historic site
1 Built in 1876, a two storey station house built of brick, the rest of the station is renovated with modern additions, the platform survives; as does the wooden awning on the south side. For some years after the closure of the station it was used as a post office and a shop.
