Notes about this historic site
A path turns sharply back to the left from the road. This leads down to what has been a dam across the stream, presumably for a pool. The path therefore may have led to the mill on this dam.
A mill dam was located and surveyed.
A large dam has been built across the site of what was obviously a pond at one time. The roadway in reference 1 is also visible.
The dam is still in good condition. It may be a dam for a fishpond rather than a mill.
