Notes about this historic site
1 Archaeological observation of construction work at Horticultural Research International, Wellesbourne, revealed no archaeological features associated with the known Prehistoric and Romano British sites in the area. However, a small number of worked flints were found in the topsoil on the site of the new glasshouses, adding to the large number already recovered from the surrounding fields.
