Notes about this historic site
1 An evaluation was carried out by the Cotswold Archaeological Trust on the allotment site at the rear of a house in Loxley Road in May 1992. Flints of the Mesolithic period were recovered. Although many of the flints were undiagnostic several pieces were thought to date to the late Neolithic (WA 7218) and the Mesolithic period.
