An enclosure dating from the Middle Iron Age was identified during archaeological work . It was located on the southern side of the Straight Mile, Bourton Heath.

Notes about this historic site
1 During an evaluation in 1991 a small subrectangular enclosure was identified in the NE corner of field 3. It is likely to have been constructed during the Middle Iron Age (c. 600-400BC). The function of this enclosure is undetermined.
