Ditches and banks beside the River Avon at Brandon
Description of this historic site
Ditches up to 5m wide can be seen on aerial photographs in fields between the Coventry -Rugby railway and the River Avon imeadiately to the west of Marston Hall Farm. The ditches have, in most cases, a bank on one edge or other. This may be spoil dug from the ditches as they were re-cut over time.

Notes about this historic site
1 A group of ditches and banks on the southern side of the river side were mapped as part of the English Heritage National Mapping Project. The ditches appear to be straightforward drainage for the area.
