Notes about this historic site
1 In Butlers Marston churchyard, N of the chancel, is the base of a Medieval cross, of square plan with double chamfered faces and mounted on two steps of square plan.
2 A portion of the shaft is also extant.
3 Mounted on two steps of square plan (1.9m x 1.9m at base) a portion of the shaft 0.55m high. It is also of square plan with double chamfered faces. The whole stands 1.5m high.
