Notes about this historic site

1 Blackdown Manor garden, Blackdown,Warwick.
Lovie reports that eary 17th century house was remodelled in early/mid 19th century. Pleasure grounds with park-type planting in adjacent paddocks/field. At time of survey (1996/7) Lovie commented that the pleasure grounds were neglected around house to N with 19th century tree/shrubbery planting.
