Is it possible that this is a concrete surfaced bridge (marked on O.S.mapping) over a dry drainage channel that from above might give the appearance of an air raid shelter? I recently visited the area and paid close attention to the undeveloped area which, where not made up land, might show glacial terracing?
It is now gone along with every part of the Alvis works except the railing adjacent to the road to Bubbenhall
