Notes about this historic site
1 Archeological observation during topsoil stripping and the excavation of service trenches at 39-49 Bridge Street revealed parts of the foundations for walls belonging to 19th and 20th century outbuildings and a quantity of post-medieval pottery. No features or finds relating to medieval Polesworth were noted.
