Four pits dating from the early period of the Roman occupation were found behind 117 Tiddington Road, Stratford on Avon.

Notes about this historic site
1 Four pits, one of which was cut by a gully, were found in advance of building work. Pottery sherds from the mid/ late 1st century were found in the fills, together with charcoal flecks, fired clay and animal bone.
