My dad. Thomas James Mulholland and his mum. Alice Mulholland were evacuated to one of these cottages during the war with other relatives and always spoke of the fun he had. In fact years later after the cottages were pulled down and replaced by three bungalows, he bought no 2 Monks How in the 70s and lived out his life with his family.
