I have been researching our family (Wells) of Tysoe for many years and can put names to all the people on the photo, as shown at this link. In the notes from a family member that I have, it lists one of the Wells family as W.B. Wells. This is William Beasley Wells (1887 – 1974) however it is not him as that would make him 16 years of age at date of photo. In fact, it is that of his father, Henry William Beasley Mills Wells (1860 – 1932) making him 43 years of age in 1903. All the Wells family resided in Tysoe for over a century before moving into other parts of the country. One of the other people in the photo worthy of note is Joseph Ashby. He was also a resident of Tysoe and a strong community achiever, much has been documented on Ashby.
