A single Late Neolithic pit was found during excavations at Lodge Farm. The pit contained 14 stratified flint flakes of Late Neolithic/Bronze Age date and three large fragments of hazelnut shell.

1 A single Late Neolithic pit was found during excavations at Lodge Farm. The pit contained 14 stratified flint flakes of Late Neolithic/Bronze Age date and three large fragments of hazelnut shell. The three large fragments of hazlenut shell were subject to radiocarbon dating, producing a date of 2890-2630 cal. BC.
