I remember this well as I often went to Birmingham on Saturdays with my Mum to Acocks Green.
I remember this particular locomotive in the early 60s. I usually saw it from the ladder bridge by Flavels or from the Eagle Rec. I guess that it was returning or leaving the engine sheds. It was filthy, rusty, and clanked a lot. It looked more neglected than the rest which were generally a bit less grubby.
