Hi Tracy, do you mean the date listed on the caption? That refers to an estimate of the date of the photo, rather than the house itself. Always happy to have some new information however, if you have some 🙂
Apologies, as soon as I hit the return key I remembered the laundry was in St. Nicholas Park. D’oh!
Thanks for sharing the photo. I spent many happy days there as a kid because my grandparents were live-in housekeeper and gardener. The gardens used to extend further than they do now and where the modern Beech Cliffe is there was an outdoor swimming pool.
Kevin, were your grandparents the Paveys (sorry if miss spelt) and did they move near the race course in Warwick? Knew them well they used to look after me. I lived at 104 Coventry Road
Hi Kevin and Tim, just found this photo. Arthur Butterworth was my great uncle and my father managed Warwick Laundry. We lived across the road at 35 Cliffe Hill opposite 104. I guess you moved in after the Hodsons? Kevin were your grandparents Morris and Ivy? Morris taught me how to pay boules. Cleaned painted and swam in the pool every summer it was bliss !
I visited this house and stayed in it when my great uncle Arthur Butterworth was its owner and I remember Morris and Ivy who were there at that time. It was a wonderful house with an old war time shelter in the garden and a great swimming pool. Happy times!

It used to be the home of Mr Butterworth who at one time owned the Warwick Laundry in Priory Park.
