myself and older sister and two younger brothers were brought up in our nan and paps cottage very near here at Thurlaston turn.we used to get the 589 bus to Dunchurch school which we all attended.Great gran Hancox lived with us too.We had real child childhood.in Thurlaston playing in the fields behind Great gran Hancox’s cottage
I remember Great gran hancox telling us about the bomb that was dropped very near to the cottage.The house shook,she remembered it vividly.
Now has a huge Amazon warehouse
where the bomb dropped
