I was part of 779D with Sgt Mo Emeny. Left after a year with Staffs and joined the Royal Navy as an Artificer. Happy days at Turin set me up for the Mob.
I would like to post the name of an old friend on this page, Sgt Harry Ellis, West Mercia Constabulary who attended Ryton On Dunsmore Police Training College in the 1960’s. The only man I knew who could possibly drink Oliver Reed under the table. A good man and an even better copper.
