The Great Central line (begun in 1894) opened in 1899. The road surface also looks a lot more typical of the 1890s than the 1920s! If this is the bridge “nearing completion” then the decade is not 1920-29. The Great Central line (begun in 1894) opened in 1899. The road surface also looks a lot more typical of the 1890s than the 1920s!
