I remember this place from my childhood , apart from the buildings in the background being gone it didn’t look so much different , characteristic of what a busy , bustling place Rugby used to be , now all shut , other things built on some of it , but nothing like as much business going on now , post – industrial Britain , even the old BTH factory in the background now mostly gone , just memories now . Who out there can say who used to stand on the sheep catwalk and shout repetitively ; ” £8 pounds 10/-” about 5 times , &and then “and I sell , gone with them at £8 pounds 10/- ” over a pen of fat lambs ? that was the price each ! As I grew up & inherited the terrible mantle of my father’s old job this person became a great and trusted friend, who was it? Answers on here please . Let’s see how far back your memories can go !
