Bentfield Charles HUCKS was born on 25.10.1884 and died 7.11.18.
His claim to fame was that he was the first Briton to perform a loop in an aircraft. Castle Bromwich Aerodrome, Birmingham was a well known spot for early flying activities, and HUCK used to take two paying passengers at a time on pleasure flights. His activities as a flyer are well documented.
