My Dad Melville James Reed was born in the cottage next to the post office (Sunbeam cottage) on the 28th October 1932.He remembered keeping a pig in the back garden.My granny,Elizabeth Fessey/Reed and my great granny Mary Ann Franklin/(next door in Rose Cottage) lived here for many years.
