My Great Grandparents x 4 lived at Knightcote in the 1750s to 1790s when Richard Horn was the Butcher at Bishops Itchington. Richard had married Elizabeth Waste (West) in 1749. Both buried at Bishop’s Itchington along with Richard’s mother Jane Horn. Richard had been born and baptised at Wroxton, Oxon to parents William Horn and Jane (Swift) in 1722. Richard and Elizabeth’s son and Grandson were also Butchers in Oxon and Middlesex respectively. Hoping this will help you in your endeavours to piece together some history.
