My gran was the caretaker for the priest at this church for many years. Father Simms was a great part of our family the Gaskins thought of him as family and it was such a great loss to us all and the ilmington community. I remember the great summer fêtes at the church, great community spirit. I loved staying here as a child with gran and Father Simms.
