This is the green in Cherington.
The road going to the left is Berrills Lane.
The road straight on goes out of the village towards Wolford
Notice the little arched stone surround to the fountain, (to right of centre) , the main water supply to this part of the village until post ww2.
The building on the right is The Old Forge.
The fountain still produces water but the water is no longer fit to drink because the supply pipe from a spring up the hill from Berrills Lane is damaged and the water is tainted.
