Description of this historic site
A Roman pit containing pottery and a clay lining, possibly used for water storage was uncovered. Another pit was undated but was probably contemporary. These pits were found on the Tiddington Road, Stratford-upon-Avon.

1 Romano British pit with a clay lining, containing pottery sherds and another undated but probably contemporary. The topsoil contained mainly 2nd century pottery. A human arm bone was also found which may be associated with an isolated burial in the area.
