Historic inn recorded on F. White and Co.’s, Pigot’s and Victuallers’ databases. The latter shows it to be in existence in 1813. Situated on the east side of Warwick road, Castle end, on the corner of Warwick road and Station road, within the medieval settlement.
Listed building record gives a date of ca. 1800.
