Notes about this historic site
1 4th century bronze belt-buckle with attached belt-plate found by a farmer in 1976 in the course of clearing a hedge. On the plate are two lines of what appears to be lettering cut out with a chisel, and inverted with respect to each other.
2 If the lettering is alphabetic could be a palindromic charm.
3 Location plan A.
