Notes about this historic site

1 Two Neolithic flint axes found in separate ploughings and drawn to the attention of the Museum in October 1983. No 1 is a polished flint axe with all-over polish, E Midlands Type 6. No 2 is an unusual E Midlands Type 2 flint axe, probably unused.
