Notes about this historic site
1 Cock Bevington. A Saxon spearhead turned up by the motor plough in the field opposite the farm house. It was approximately where there had been a hedge recently. The spearhead had a rather long point, the socket had been broken, the beginning of the open side being just visible. It was proposed to send the spearhead to Warwick Museum.
