Findspot - various Anglo Saxon artefacts dating to the Migration period, including a brooch, were found in the area east of Grafton Lane, Bidford on Avon.

Notes about this historic site
1 Finds made with a metal detector:- i) a bronze pin with trefoil head, of uncertain date, ii) a decorated flat copper alloy fragment, iii) a pagan Saxon saucer brooch 6th-7th century AD. These items are usually found as grave goods.
2 Top soil from the Pagan Saxon period at Bidford (WA605) was dumped in this field and it seems likely that these finds are derived from this context.
