Notes about this historic site
1 An assessment of the archaeological potential of Warwick University’s lands (WA 8344) included the results of a number of fieldwalking sessions, mostly unstructured. In Field D10, 19 flints of Mesolithic date were noted. A sherd of pottery was also recovered which could be of either Prehistoric or Dark Age date (WA 8361).
