Description of this historic site
Findspot - pottery sherds and fragments of glass dating to the Post Medieval period were found during archaeological work. The finds were discovered 100m north east of the civic hall, Stratford upon Avon.

Notes about this historic site
1 Trenching took place at Guyvers Garage in advance of proposed redevelopment, on a site which was expected to yield medieval finds. In fact only 17th century postsherds, and some stoneware jug sherds, were found, together with late 17th and 18th century glass and other remains.
