Findspot - a spearhead dating to the Bronze Age was found 800m south west of Newbold Comyn Park.

Notes about this historic site
1 Bronze socketed spearhead with loops of Middle Bronze Age date. Found at the above grid reference in 1965 in a trench of a building site by a representative of South Warwicks Water Board. 10.1 cm long.
3 A bronze side-looped, socketed spearhead found during the construction of a housing estate. It was found at a depth of 0.76m in ‘pebbly clayey soil which apparently was not disturbed’.
