An undated V-shaped ditch which may have belonged to a Romano-British field system indicated by cropmarks immediately west of the development site. The site is located at Welford-on-Avon Primary School.

Notes about this historic site
1 A single V-shaped ditch was observed during archaeological observation of the construction of a three-classroom extension. This feature may have belonged to a Romano-British field system indicated by cropmarks immediately west of the development site (MWA 1815). No finds were recovered from the section examined or from the surrounding soils, probably reflecting its distance from the focal point of the associated settlement.
