Broom. Broom Mill
In 1972 Broom Mill still had two turbines in place, one of which was used to generate electricity for lighting the old mill which by then was only used for storage. All milling took place in a modern building to the left of the photo. The mill has since been demolished and the site is occupied by a housing development.

This was my view from around 1967-ish to 1979. we lived in mill lane and my father was the maintenance man at the mill
