Description of this historic site
The site of an enclosure which is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs. The enclosure was partially excavated and was found to be of Bronze Age or Iron Age date. It was situated 800m west of Wolston.

2 An undated subrectangular enclosure shows on aerial photographs.
3 This site was examined during an archaeological evaluation in 1990 (WA 3961). It appears to date to the later Bronze Age or early Iron Age.
4 Dating given as Late Bronze Age to Iron Age.
5 Cropmark mapped from aerial photographs as part of the English Heritage National Mapping Project.
