Notes about this historic site

1 Palaeolithic flint handaxe found in 1985. Small, ovate, 90 grms, 68mm x 55mm x 24mm. Rather ‘rolled’ in appearance. Of general Acheulian date.
2 Dating confirmed as Lower Palaeololithic.
