The site of an ornamental garden at Kenilworth Castle which may date back to the Medieval period. It certainly existed by 1575 when Queen Elizabeth I visited Kenilworth castle, but was gone by the mid 1600s. The present formal box garden was created in 1973. Jephson Gardens, established as a public garden in the Imperial period, were first known as Newbold Gardens. They are now named after Dr. Henry Jephson. Garden features include pathways, a lake and ornamental trees. They are situtated in Leamington Spa. Review of Register entry recommended by Lovie with view to expanding it to include those other parks and designed urban landscapes which form the 19th century landscape setting of the Spa.
