Find of a stone scatter probably from a burnt mound from the Prehistoric period along The Alne south of Hunger Hill, Ullenhall/Wootton Wawen.
A flint assemblage discovered by local walkers was brought to Warwickshire Museum Field Services for identification. The diagnostic pieces indicate a late Mesolithic or Early Neolithic date. Finds included two possible cores, a core rejuvination flake and fragments of two blades.
A total of 52 pieces of flint were recovered during fieldwalking by members of the community at Wixford Lodge Farm. The composition of the assemblage indicates a multi-period settlement site.
A flint scatter from the Neolithic and Bronze Age was recorded during evaluation at Middle Hunscote Farm. A number of ditches and pits from the Bronze Age were also recorded.
