Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum (Royal Warwickshire)

The museum tells the story of the County infantry Regiment from its origins in 1674 to the Fusiliers of today.

There is something for everybody at the museum. Try on uniforms – a great photo opportunity; have a go at the quizzes on the touchscreen; discover how soldiers see at night; hear about D-Day and Gallipoli; find out about the link between Field Marshals Slim and Montgomery; learn about Bobby the Regimental Mascot (an antelope) and where the saying ‘Women and Children First’ came from.

Free entry to the museum (donations appreciated as we are not supported by Warwickshire County Council). We offer a family history research service (we charge for this as we our a charity), organise special events during the year for families, and will do talks to groups by prior arrangement.
