Willoughby

Willoughby is five miles south of Rugby, and used to have a railway station until that was closed in 1957. The Oxford Canal passes east of the village, whilst the church building dates from the 16th century. In 1457 Magdalen College, Oxford was founded by William Waynflete, Bishop of Winchester  on the site of the Hospital of St John the Baptist.
