Abbot's Salford

Abbot’s Salford is close to the border with Worcestershire, being six miles south of Alcester and roughly the same distance from Evesham. The River Avon runs close by the eastern side of the village, which is in the parish of Salford Priors. Until the dissolution of the monasteries, Salford Hall belonged to first Evesham Abbey, then Kenilworth Priory.
