This is a picture of me Aged 4 around the summer of 1975, outside the prefab where I was bought home as a newborn at 60 Ryde Avenue, the council later moved us to Blackatree Road and knocked them down to build what is now The Ivys. I remember our fence led straight to the field by the brook where my dad would fly kites, when the wind took one it often ended up at the garage which is still there. I went looking around the area a few years ago and found out that 60 Ryde Avenue is now a house on the opposite side as you enter the street.

Since I posted this in 2019 I have looked at a map and discovered that the sheltered housing that replaced this prefab is called The Chines.
