    Is the Royal Restaurant still in Bridge Street?

    The Royal Restaurant was owned both by my parents and grandparents from the early 1900s through WW2, but was sold back in the 1950s.Today it is the Halifax Building Society.

    That’s my Grandfather in the photo! So sorry Jill it’s long gone!
