Held in Church Street. During the 1940s I lived in Holborn House which is the light coloured house towards the right hand side of the photo. Phil Hancock the blacksmith was next door, with the group of Horse Chestnut trees known as the Plantation or “Plant” in the centre of the photo. Living so close we had the pick of the “conkers” in the autumn!
