My Great Grandfather Robert Wood lived there in the 1950s. His daughter, my Grandmother Edna Yates became a teacher at the local village school.

Having shown this photo to my brother, we think the man may be our Great Grandfather Robert Wood as the era is right and he looks like him. Do you have a higher resolution photo we could see to confirm this?

Hi Ann, the photo is held at the County Record Office in Warwick – it’s a negative. If you were able to get over to them they could show you the original. A higher resolution might be possible from them, but there would be a charge. Details are on their website.
