The Fox Inn at Loxley, was run by my G/Grandfather for a number of years until his death in 1902. His name was William Eden Wilson Cresswell, and he is buried somewhere in the grounds of St Nicholas` church – I have not been able to locate his grave. His widow, Sarah Ann Cresswell, nee Duffin, remained in Loxley until her death in 1949. She is buried in the `overspill` cemetery opposite St Nicholas`.
