My Mum was born and bred in the village. She was Violet (Vi) Tolley. Her father was George Tolley and her mother was Chrissy. She had brothers George and Ted and sisters Gwen and Thelma. They all lived in houses between Mrs Dee”s bakers and Gwen Harrisons general stores. Would love to hear from anyone who knew the Tolley family.
